How to Blackjack Professionally
You have been unexpectedly invited to your friends' house to play a couple of rounds of Blackjack, but you have never heard of the game and you have absolutely no idea how to play it. We will give you a quick guide on how to play Blackjack and even how to sound like a professional doing so.
Blackjack is also called 21 and the reason for that it because if you have 21 points you win, as simple as that. In order to get 21 points you have to get to know the values of each card. The point value of the Ace is 11, and the point value of the face cards Jack, Queen and King are 10. The number cards two until 10 are each worth their respective number, for example card three of spades has a card point value of three respectively.
Now each player is given two initial cards by the dealer and the dealer himself also gets two Blackjack cards. In the casino version of Blackjack, the dealer plays against all the other players. After you have looked at your cards you see the point value of your cards and your opponents' cards. Let us assume that you found an Ace which is 11 points, and a four, which is four points with a total of 15 points. Now you can say "Hit" which means that you want to take another card, or "Stand" which means that you will not take any cards. If you think you can improve your hand to get closer to 21 points then say hit, and if you are too afraid then stand.
If you see that your hand might be going the wrong way, then you can surrender, which means that you forfeit half of your bet and that you are giving up your hand, but if you are extremely confident over your deck of cards, then you can double down, which means that you double the bet or wager and take only one more card and no more after that. Blackjack can only be won with a 21, so if you got two aces, you lost the game also whenever you get any other card that will shoot above 21. The only sets that can make a Blackjack out of two cards are the Jack and Ace, the Queen and Ace, the King and Ace, and the number ten and the Ace.
Now that you are Blackjack ready, you can now jump into the game with your friends and impress them with your Blackjack lingo and skills.
